The Misunderstanding of Fasting

Intermittent-Fasting-Puts-Type-2-Diabetes-in-Remission-722x406.jpg

I have seen so many times, a professing Christian who is fasting boast and loudly let it be known that they are fasting and it becomes a fanfare.

Growing up religious, I definately was accustomed to church attendees popular habits, practices, and teachings. Fasting was one of those practices that I saw people of all denominations and many religions do depending on the time of the year, an occasion, a holiday, or a personal reason. Eventually fasting surrounded me so much that I decided to do a fast too. Afterall, from what I saw fasting became a “c’mon everyone join in everyone is doing it!” Well, let me tell you it was not easy at all. I badly struggled with it.

What I noticed about people who fasted was that often they did it to get a prayer answered, wanted to be drawn closer to God, or it was a habitual event that they got so used to doing most of their life.

Living in this age of deceptionPam Sheppard Ministries is helping the blinders come off those who have been blinded by deception from the devil, who has snuck in and infiltrated the organized church system, and the Christian world at large.

As Pam Sheppard Ministries continues to receive contact from people all over the world seeking freedom of some sort from bondage most often by the devil, the Holy Spirit has revealed that professing Christians proclaiming to be saved in the name of Jesus have actually had a counterfeit birth, also known as a false conversion.

Fasting is often misunderstood and mis-applied. The first thing that should be done before anyone starts thinking about fasting is to examine their faith to see if they really had a true born again experience. If you’re not truly born again the real deal is that life is about fullfiling the flesh until the Holy Spirit draws you to repentance of your sins, then the Holy Spirit draws you to the cross, and absolutely draws you to the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Yet the common problem is that many don’t realize faith is given to us by God to believe in all of this and as a result countless false doctrines are passed around in the organized church system. What is happening is that people are easily responding to altar calls around the world to “accept Jesus”.

When truly born again in Jesus Christ of Nazareth you do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Romans 8: 1-7. So next ask yourself, are you fasting to fulfill your flesh?

Those who have had a false conversion are often misunderstanding fasting and it’s purpose.

First of all many don’t realize that either God is the reason you are fasting or it is not God at all.

Moreover, if your reason to fast has nothing to do with God it draws the devil to you. We know this by Matthew 4:1-11. In this scripture, Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. It was after the fast was over that Jesus became hungry. In the beginning of this scripture, it is mentioned that Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the devil and he fasted before Satan came to him.

Satan feverntly tried numerous ways to tempt Jesus during this time. He tried to bring forth pride, idolatry, and sin to Jesus just to name a few of the many treacherous tricks Satan was trying to do to him at that time.

Most historical Christian practices have been twisted and fasting is a part of that list. Jesus pointed out that fasting is not about making you look righteous, for undoubtedly the unrighteous are fasting, disguising their hypocrisy. Instead Jesus said when you fast put oil on your head and wash your face so that it will not be obvious to others you are fasting but only to your Father, who is unseen. Matthew 6: 16-18.

Fasting is not about tradition, religion, or just trying to fulfill our desires, it is instead about fulfilling God’s purpose. Often times we don’t know what that purpose is until days, months, or years pass.

Furthermore, there are untold millions if not, billions that are unknowingly at enmity with God but claiming to be a professing Christian and doing religious practices like fasting. What happens is many end up unknowingly worshipping the fake Jesus and draw the devil to them instead. This religous evil spirit twists, hides, all the while he is scheming, manipulating, and doing all the things he can to try to take you down.

Pastor Pam of Pam Sheppard Ministries, discussed during a Bible Study, that she didn’t realize she was fasting. She would start eating at 8pm every day and would sometimes snack a few hours later. The next time she would eat would be at 8 pm the next day, making this at least 21 hours of fasting.

Pam didn’t put herself on this fast. It just happened. Did she know why she was fasting? No. But she revealed that she has energy and she’s not losing abnormal amounts of weight. She further said that if she did end up eating at 2 pm she may actually feel sluggish.

With Pastor Pam’s unexpected fast she shared that she’s not making a big deal about it, she’s sleeping peaceful, and God knows the reason why she has been fasting, but at the moment, she has not been shown what it is.

When the Lord was fasting he wasn’t losing excessive amount of weight and when his fast was over, then he was hungry.

From the words of Pam Sheppard, when a fast from God is over THEN you get hungry. However, if you are struggling with the fast then God didn’t give it to you and that’s why it’s burdensome! You’re not getting help. When you are fasting and have the help from the Lord: it should be easy. That’s why his yoke is light and his burden is light. Matthew 11:29-30.

So a warning to all who are professing Christians yet have not examined yourself to see whether you are in the faith. 2 Corinthians 13:5. Be careful when it comes to fasting. Pastor Pam warned this during Bible study, don’t go on a fast until God put you there.

If you would like to learn how to examine your faith, I recommend the course False Conversions and the book The Church of the Endtime Zombies, to follow along with it.

Are You Praying to And Under the Power of the Devil?

By Pastor Pam Sheppard

tongues2

People who are comfortable and satisfied with their spirituality and their churchgoing experiences do not contact me. No problem. To each his own is MY motto. On the contrary, I hear from the confused, frustrated ones who realize something is wrong with both their spiritual life and their church, but they have difficulty in putting their finger on the problem.

Most people who call me think that I operate as a  prayer line.  Prayer is certainly an important  part of what I do.  However, the only prayer I offer for someone that I do not know is “Lord, expose the darkness to this person and if this person continues in telephone coaching  with me, then give me wisdom and revelation as to how to pray for this person.”  Help me to know this person’s heart so that I can pray YOUR perfect will for him or her.”

Prayer is an invocation to either God or the enemy. You can even sing a prayer. A few years ago,  I had to delete a song from my cell phone that I used to love and sing along with, until I realized that it was an anthem, even an invocation to fallen angels. The song is “I need an Angel” by the first American idol, Reuben Studdard. “I NEED AN ANGEL. CALLING AN ANGEL. SEND ME AN ANGEL—-NOW! HEAR ME NOW!”

No, I had to let that song go. We are not to ask God to send us an angel. If you are one of His elect, you were assigned an angel at your birth.  . If you command an angel to come to you, you are setting yourself up for a devilish response. For when you start communicating with a fallen angel, deceived that God sent him, the more you communicate with that angel, the more he steals your will power with the ultimate goal of taking over your entire life!!!

Then there are the prayers that emanate from those who seek the Father but the prayer bypasses or ignores the Son of God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. ALL such prayers are heard and answered by fallen deities—angels that call themselves ascended masters. The fallen angel Maitreya hears the prayers made by those who practice Hinduism and Islam, while Jesus Sananda hears the prayers of nominal Christians and New Agers. The fallen angel who calls himself “Mother Mary” hears and responds to the prayers of Catholics. Satan himself focuses on the invocations he receives from witches and warlocks.

Then there are those who claim to be “praying in the spirit.” aka praying in tongues.  You need to know that there is no such thing as a prayer language.  This is a practice that the devil has tricked Charismatics to do.  For if you pray in a language that you don’t understand, is it not possible that the enemy is using you to pray not only against your loved ones but also against yourself? Could you not be the source or the tool that Satan is using to fulfil his purpose, which is to kill, steal and destroy by witchcraft curses uttered out of YOUR own mouth?

Speaking of witchcraft, Charismatic Christians are invoking witchcraft  when they use prayer to seek to control of the lives of others. Soulish prayers of this kind energize psychic power by projecting one’s thoughts on to persons that these folk are praying for, by saying that such and so person SHALL do this or that. Such prayer makes demands upon God to “make something happen.” Satan  answers these kinds of prayers.

According to Jessie Penn Lewis in her book “Soul and Spirit”

Every prayer should be directed Godward, and should never be a telling the Lord what to do for somebody else. We may pray that God will direct THEM what to do, but we ought not to say that they MUST do what WE think is God’s will they should do, or even that they SHALL NOT DO, even what we know  it is wrong.” (Soul and Spirit pg 35)

I agree with this statement completely.

For example, I receive frequent prayer requests from women, asking me to pray for their wayward husbands, that he will leave the other woman, return home, do this or that. I perceive that any prayer made to control another person’s will is a witchcraft prayer.

I will ask God for His will to be done in the situation. I don’t assume that EVERY marriage was made in heaven. So I ask for vision, clarity, peace to come into the wife’s heart, and for conviction and sin to come from God upon the husband. If he is under the spell of sex magic from a witch, I ask for God to reveal it to me and if I hear from God on it, I will proceed to break that spell. However, in no way, will I ask God to MAKE the husband DO ANYTHING!!! I don’t practice witchcraft in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

If you believe that you are in bondage based upon a “witchcraft prayer,” call me at  1-888-818-1117.  ARE YOU READY TO BE UN_DECEIVED? Don’t call me if you are looking for “same ole religiosity.” I do not pray for the hearer to “feel good.”  I am looking for truth and wisdom that brings positive results.

So  I ain”t about serving up a religious prayer on anyone. Such a prayer is headed straight  to the devil. Also, if you are continuing to be  tormented and you won’t stop praying in tongues when I ask this of you, don’t waste my time by contacting me because no one can help you until you stop speaking in tongues. YOU ARE PUTTING CURSES ON YOURSELF AND THOSE YOU LOVE!!!

I don’t make it a practice to call out ministries and prophets by name. Making it clear, I would love to fully expose them. The problem is that people miss the reason for the exposure, and if they are a fan, they will get caught up in defending both the minister and his or her ministry rather than “listen to reason.” Having been there and done that,  I refuse to get distracted by engaging in  online defensive arguments and contentions.

The reality is that   for every known mega false teaching and practice, there are hundreds or even thousands of unknown  ministries who continue to  mimic the famous.  These unknown ministries  collectively, are influencing untold numbers of innocent, ignorant people. So my goal is to bring my readers  the truth  without identifying individuals so that you can recognize game not only  among  the famous but also…

Pam Sheppard Ministry Casts Out Evil Spirits Over the Phone!

By Pastor Pam Sheppard of Pam Sheppard Ministry

demons

Casting out demons 2000 years ago was a lot more elementary and certainly less complicated than what believers have to contend with today. For as the world evolved from an agricultural to an industrial society, so have demons and devils adjusted to the ever-increasing sophistication of modern times. For example, with the advent of the telephone, who would have thought that it could be used to cast out devils? I certainly never considered it until spontaneously, I was compelled to do so and then was shocked when it actually worked!

I believe the year was 2002 when I received a phone call from Doris Wagner, the author of “How to Cast Out Demons” and the wife of one of the well-known evangelical leaders, the late Dr. Peter Wagner of the Fuller Theological Seminary Institute of Church Growth in Colorado. I had requested that Doris write a review of my first book, “To the Curse the Root,” and she did so. A few years later, she called me on the phone with a request that I conduct a deliverance of a minister who lived in my state. At the time, she could locate only two deliverance workers in NY, one in Buffalo and myself.

The minister in question who I’ll simply call, “Rev,” had obtained Doris’s book because he needed to be set free from a demon. Prepared to fly from NY to Colorado, Rev was desperate. Too busy to handle his case, Doris did a search on the web to find someone from his home state and I was the only one online that she could find in New York, besides the man in Buffalo, who did not return her call. So, “I was all she wrote.”

A day or so later, Rev. called me. In short, he was too suspicious of me to travel the 3 hours to my city and that same suspicion would not allow him to accept my invitation to travel to him. So, exasperated with this demon, I simply commanded it to come out of him over the telephone, and I was as shocked as Rev. was. He was immediately delivered over the airways.

Pompous and proud, a bona-fide mega preacher wannabee, the “Rev” boastfully said to me, “Pam, when I get big, I’ll look out for you.” I guess he never got big because that was 17 years ago, and I have not heard from him yet! The truth of the matter, with such a proud spirit, I would not be surprised to hear that demons have re-infested him, in one way or the other.

So I know you are wondering how “Rev. Mr. Big” became demonized in the first place! A single man, the Rev had been sleeping with one of the single women who was a member of the congregation that he pastored. His girlfriend was the leader of the church’s “deliverance team.” On the night that the Rev. was demonized, his girlfriend and the rest of the team were in the church building, casting out demons from someone— when the demons turned on them, very much like is recorded in the book of Acts concerning the sons of Sceva. The demon or demons in the captive used the captive’s body to jump on the members of the deliverance team and “conduct a beat down”.

The girlfriend frantically ran to the telephone—-check this out–and called Rev.

He had been in a deep, coma like sleep and he woke up and picked up the phone, only to hear his girlfriend screaming in fright. Not fully understanding what was going on, all of a sudden, he saw something that he described as “a silver ball like thing,” rolling like a bowling ball down his alley and entered into his chest. Until he contacted Doris and then me, he had been possessed with a spirit of fear for about 6 weeks. He was afraid to come out of his house, and preaching from his pulpit was particularly challenging, to say the least. The fear was so debilitating, that he was anxious to fly to Colorado from NY for Doris Wagner to set him free.

When I suggested that he travel to me, a distance of about 3 hours by bus, train or car, he refused. He was too fearful for that. He could take a plane because he could sit down in the seat and close his eyes. But he could not handle any other kind of transportation. There is a flight from his city to mine, that takes about 45 minutes but we never thought of that at the time. So I offered to travel to New York City but the Rev refused because he was both fearful and suspicious of me, for I was in no way as noteworthy as Doris Wagner. So while he was yet speaking, the Holy Ghost moved on me and I commanded the spirit to come out of him.

It did so immediately.

This may seem like a simple deliverance success story. However, it is not. There is much more to it than meets the eye. So what am I suggesting about this incident?

Rev. was not saved, his girlfriend was not saved, and the demons had taken over the entire sanctuary. If I had travelled to him and attempted to conduct the deliverance in the Rev’s church, I suspect that the demon would NOT have come out of him.

Thank God for the telephone and thank God for Mr. Alexander Graham Bell.

Those who practice Deliverance 101 would boast, “Oh, this case is elementary. Rev. and his girlfriend were committing the sin of fornication, so they became vulnerable to demons. Sins gives ground to the devil. They put themselves in harm’s way by trying to cast out demons from people. Case closed. Simple.

No, it is not so simple. For there is MORE! This one case did more than just reveal to me that demons can be cast out over the telephone. When I revisit the experience today, I can apply what 17 additional years under my belt have taught me. My experience with “the Rev” confirms what I have suspected for the last decade–a revelatory question that led me to write the next 5 books: Faces of the Religious Demon, Come Out of Her God’s People, the New Idolatry, the Church of the end-time Zombies, and Be Delivered From Deliverance Ministry.

So here goes, the question.

Have religious devils already taken over the pulpits throughout the entire organized church, perhaps the pulpits of entire nation, perhaps pulpits worldwide?

I suggest to you an emphatic “yes!!!!”
