Defining the Flesh

pamsheppardpublishing

Crucifying the flesh is “a death that we must impose upon ourselves.” The flesh is still “there” when we get born again; it still exists – we must continually crucify it by walking in the spirit so we do not fulfill the lusts of our flesh.

We need to know the nature of our individual flesh, which is our carnal nature without Jesus. The flesh has lusts, which are things that our flesh really enjoys. One of these lusts can be the lust for religion. This lust can blind us to the truth of whether or not we’re really born again. When we find that religiosity has taken over our flesh, we need to submit it to the cross and crucify it. Even though religious things might appear “good,” religion does not please God, and we need to submit religion to the cross. Not only do we need to submit…

Religion Is of the Devil!!!

400dpilogocropped-1

You are thinking to yourself  “show me chapter and verse.”  No. problem.  There are several scriptures I can quote  but what better than the words of the Lord Himself to the religious leaders of that day:

John 8:44 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.

So if you have submitted your mind and your spirit  to  the teachings and practices of denominational, Pentecostal,  and charismatic  religious leaders of THIS DAY for ANY length of time, once you come out of the Harlot, you will need to detox.  The book entitled The Church of the End-time Zombies: A Guide to Religious Detox should be your “go to” resource  to help you through the detox process.

Deliverance From Demons Involves Detox

By Pastor Pam Sheppard

From 90 days to 6 months, perhaps a year, the church addict’s mind must be re-trained. False doctrines and practices that the churchgoer has believed in for decades must be challenged so that the soul can be renewed. As God Himself has compared false worship to prostitution or whoredom , I am not out of line in making a similar comparison. A religious or spiritual addiction can be compared to “good sex” with someone you know does not really love you. Simply put, you get hooked to the thrill and the feeling. Those of us who have never “been there and done that” wonder what the thrill is for a masochist.” a quote from “Come out of H er God’s people)

Masochism from a psychiatric perspective is defined as a condition in which sexual gratification depends on suffering, physical pain and humiliation gained from despair, deprivation, and degradation. The perpetrator can be others or it can be self inflicted. Unfortunately, masochists are known to find pleasure in self denial and emotional pain.

I can relate on a spiritual level because sexual masochism is like self imposed martyrdom… I ignorantly assumed that I was suffering for Christ.” Notwithstanding, like a spiritual masochists, a sensual, carnal thrill was obtainable through believing that I was more righteous than they because I was faithfully doing God’s will. What a shock to find out after more than two decades, that “God never sent me there for ANY reason.” He simply used what the enemy meant for evil for my personal and spiritual good, so that I could be used by Him to help others “help themselves!” Nevertheless, as one who was “addicted,” I never wanted to leave that Whore on my own so God made HER PUT ME OUT!!!!”

The enemy is planning on using your ‘addiction’ to religion and churchianity against you in these endtimes. If you can’t come clean and effectively ‘detox’ , the enemy will keep a foothold in you. If you have ANYTHING in you that wants fame, fortune, popular acceptance, and approval, the enemy has yet another foothold in you. If you love attention, there is another one. If you love suffering, there is another one. if you love drama, there is another one.

Just know that the more you continue in your detox from religion, the more you pursue truth, the more you will realize that your journey will NOT be popular. When you leave your religion behind, you WILL lose friendships…THAT’S A FACT. Some may be more surprising than others. MOST people are not interested in TRUTH. MOST people worship their religion so deeply, that they have no desire or respect for the truth. They wanna hear what makes them feel good. You will find that you cannot share what you are learning with everyone in your life…not your parents, not your siblings, not your friends, and sometimes not even your spouse. Why? Because not everyone is READY for the truth, and quite frankly, not everyone is meant to know the truth. You cannot force it on a person. You cannot MAKE them believe you. You cannot make them see that the religion they are in is not of God, but instead a bunch of religious lies from the enemy. NO. You have got to leave that up to the Holy Ghost to open their eyes and show them. It is NOT your job to convince anyone of the truth.

Yet Pam Sheppard Ministries was enlisted by God to help and guide you on your detox journey with books, videos, articles, correspondence courses, telephone counseling, coaching and deliverance, group fellowship, bible studies, sermons and more!

An Alternative to Power Evangelism

By Pastor Pam Sheppard

“Power Evangelism” is the title of a book by a Christian Charismatic leader named John Wimber. The term is also applied to the movement and the process described in his book.

Power Evangelism is a form of ministry which relies primarily on what is believed to be the supernatural power and gifts of the Holy Ghost. Although the word of God teaches that a person is brought to faith solely through the active choice of God in the person of the Holy Spirit, in power evangelism, supernatural events such as healings and miracles are a demonstration of the power, and therefore the reality, of God.

Wimber took an approach to the charismatic which was somewhat different from that of peers and predecessors. This new approach led his friend, the late Peter Wagner to coin the phrase “the Third Wave.” The Third Wave differed from classic Pentecostalism and the Charismatic movement, mainly in their approach to speaking in tongues.Whereas the previous groups had emphasized the gift of tongues as the only evidence for the baptism of the Holy Ghost, Wimber and those he influenced emphasized that tongues was merely one of the many spiritual gifts taught in the Bible.

With Wember, of the nine gifts of the Holy Ghost, healing and miracles was at the forefront of power evangelism. As for Wimber, he died of a brain hemorrhage on November 17, 1997 at the age of 63. Just before he died, he had also sustained a coronary by-pass operation. I find it a rather perplexingly telling message to all of us that someone as heavy into healing and miracles as was Wember, died as the result of serious illnesses.

When I myself was a strong believer in healing and miracles, I had never heard of Wimber. In fact, from 1974-1977, I was into all aspects of the supernatural when I was an atheist, psychic medium, steeped in the occult. Shortly after I became born again on March 29, 1997, evil spirits carefully and skillfully imitating God, spoke to me directly about miracles and healing in dreams, visions, prophetic words and various counterfeit revelations and manifestations about my own healing and miracles ministry. It took 25 years, but the Lord lifted the veil of deception from me about about 10 years ago. What keeps me humble, sober and vigilant is the biblical warning to the end-time elect, —–that in the last days, the enemy’s manifestations of healing and miracles are going to appear to be so authentic, that they may fool us. It has already happened!!!!

Well, I’ve been at this too long to allow myself to be fooled AGAIN!.Do I believe that God will also manifest healing and miracles in the last days? Yes, I do. I do not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. I believe that the saints who are alive shall go through endtime tribulation. When the plagues fall and the judgment vials have been completely poured out, I believe that God will make a provision for His people. For when danger is all around us and there are no material provisions for those who refuse the mark of the beast, God will supernaturally provide for us.

The book of Revelation points out that how two martyrs called “the two witnesses” shall die in the streets for ALL to see. They shall be raised up from death to life, probably on satellite television. The variety and extent of God’s end-time miracles are beyond my finite imagination. Nevertheless, of one thing, I am sure. Pure evangelism targets the salvation of souls. Salvation today has not changed as we are saved by faith through grace, and not by signs and wonders, miracles and healings.

The Lord Jesus said that it is a perverse nation that seeks after signs. Just as we did not choose when we were born, we cannot choose when we are born again. If any one chooses Christ because he or she saw or experienced a miracle or a healing, then they have experienced a false conversion. Therefore evangelism in this hour must focus on those whom the god of this world has been blinded and blocked from repentance that leads to true salvation.

At the core of present-day evangelism today is the ability to cause false conversions to be overturned so as to make room for the true born again experience.

Kundalini Awakening or Kundalini Psychosis?

I am examining this subject for one reason: I am being contacted by people who are embarked on an unchartered journey to activate the release of kundalini energy by practicing yoga and transcendental meditation—people who ended up on “a bad trip” which ultimately led to a mental health crisis involving hospitalization and medication.

I do not work with those who were already mentally ill BEFORE they took hallucinatory drugs where outcomes confirmed that it was their genetically precipitated mental illness that is the root cause of their condition

Those with mental illness predispositions in their DNA do not respond well to cognitive reasoning as they rarely have the capacity to dis-connect from the reality of their delusions. What I have found is that those in a kundalini crisis can appear to be a classic schizophrenic when the truth of the matter is that their mental disorder was precipitated or enduced by what is occurred in the physical realm that negatively impacted their mental reality.

The following profile issues taken from a web article written by Tara Spriget highlights some differences between a classic psychotic and a person mentally effected by a kundalini crisis:

A person with a kundalini crisis can usually pinpoint the exact time and trigger of the beginning of their crisis. In most cases the trigger was intensive spiritual practice. By contrast, ordinary psychosis usually develops slowly and gradually and the patient cannot remember a healthy sense of self.

A person in a kundalini crisis can remember what it is like to feel ‘normal’ and wishes to go back to this state, while a psychotic patient has lost touch with their healthy state of mind.

People in a kundalini crisis can talk about what is going on their mind and usually they also want to talk about this. People with ordinary psychosis rarely want to talk about the content of their psychotic mind.

I am one who believes in root causes. In that regard, the question is what is the purpose of the kundalini from an eastern perspective and how the eastern way of life and belief system differs from those in the West, who end up in a mental health crisis after practicing yoga, chanting, deep breathing and transcendental meditation in order to enter a kundalini awakening.

In order to simplify a rather complicated belief system and practice, the concept of enlightenment from an Eastern perspective is not only different but in direct opposition to the spiritual walk of a true Christian. I find that professing Christians who are not mentally ill yet who end up with a psychosis are those who do not have a clue that they are mixing beliefs and practices like mere apples and oranges to their own spiritual, mental and physical detriment. It’s like a surgeon using a hack saw. The two don’t mix well. (Peplinski, 2014)

The purpose of releasing the kundalini for those in the East is NOT better health, self-actualization, happiness, power, blessings or anything else we westerners desire to obtain. The underlying and original purpose of kundalini awakening is the achievement of ‘moksha,’ or enlightenment. Enlightenment is not the Christian perspective of seeking truth and gaining wisdom. Rather the Hindu and Taoist religions define enlightenment as a fusion of the individual with universal consciousness. When this fusion or merging has been achieved, seekers have lost their an individual sense of self, and instead identifies with everything in existence. So the goal is to lose one’s ego in order to go through life as a part of a greater field of consciousness. This phenomenon is the ‘loss of ego’ that spiritual disciplines often describe.

In Christianity, the ego of Freud and psychoanalysis is the soul. The soul consists of the mind including thought, the emotions including feelings, the personality which is individuality, and the free will to choose. So to lose your ego is to lose your soul. Simply put, at the root of a kundalini awakening is the loss of the essence of who you are as a person. Straight up, the real goal of the the kundalini activation is THE LOSS OF YOUR SOUL!!!!

Was it your intention to practice yoga so that you could lose your soul? I can answer that. No, it was not. We are human. The Christian way to deal with our baser instincts is to be led by the help of God in the Person of the Holy Spirit, where we are to walk in the spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. We don’t lose our humanity to become, say, a bird. This is what happens to folk who are on the spectrum of a kundalini psychosis. A part of you knows that you are not a bird.Yet you are having a hard time holding on to your humanity without trying to be like a bird. Now, if you find yourself on a high place and you have an inner urge to “fly away like a bird,”. You will be in for a rude awakening, which was not your original kundalini purpose.

Here is just one example of the struggle of in the life a sane, yet nominal Christian who practiced yoga for reasons that are in direct opposition to the original purpose of kundalini activation. She states:

My crown chakra and my third eye were opened. The spirit of Kundalini manifested (I thought it was the Holy Spirit) and I was deceived. Once this happened, I started to see things when I closed my eyes, such as spirits/demons. I knew if something was in the room. Portals have been opened and the torment had increased. I prayed and worshiped to fight these entities spiritually but it only worked temporarily. I felt these demons or demonic tares being deposited into my mind and body. There is a ringing in my ear and feels like there is a metal in my brain and a heat/air is coming out of my hands and feet. Other manifestations include:

  • The apartment is shaking, as if something is falling into it from the sky. I can feel it.

  • My mind and thoughts, everything feels like it is being controlled by hooks in my brain

  • I hear drums and toilets flushing in my brain

  • I can see things going on in my body like X-rays.

In deliverance counseling/coaching, the goal is to reverse and renounce the underlying purpose of a thing. In this case, the underlying purpose of kundalini activation is to lose one’s humanity in order to to become one with all things animate and inanimate. So our recovery process with kundalini psychosis is to restore the soul which is the foundational goal of the Christian experience.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  Romans 12:1-2

The world herein is the East, particularly its body and form of religiosity including the purposes, principles and practices undergirding kundalini activation. When you present your body or your humanity as a living sacrifice, the intent is not annihilation by fusion with the cosmos but by keeping your human essence which is individuality under the divine authority of Jesus Christ. The goal and purpose of our mission is divine, in that in renewing the mind, we restore the soul.

Preparing For End-Times

The Resurrection is Key to All live and Living!Understanding the resurrection of the Lord is crucial to becoming born again. Without the resurrection, your faith is vain, and you are still in your sins.” (I Cor 15:17) To learn more, contact RESCUE Fellowship at rescueonfb@icloud.com

I remember when I got born again. I was sorrowing deep inside myself and my mind really did not know why. All of a sudden, I got a flash that was like a lightbulb turned on in my mind. I knew that I knew that I knew that Jesus was raised from the dead and I had no idea how or why I believed such a preposterous thing. It was preposterous to me because nothing that dies comes back to life, so how could I believe in a human being died and came back to life, since for 3 decades I did not even believe that Jesus existed!!! So faith in His resurrection…

You Must Also Rise From the Dead!

D5223800-DDEB-4D2C-9391-682A9EFA2838Many modern-day churchgoers are confused as to the understanding of the resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  At RESCUE FELLOWSHIP ONLINE, we share the reasons why without your understanding, you are not born again, baptized or not!!!!   Check out the warning of the Apostle Paul to the Corinthians:

Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.
1 Corinthians 15:12-19 –

We assume that all of the Corinthian believers were born again.  Wrong assumption!!! The Apostle Paul reveals the connection of the Lord’s resurrection to our own resurrection.  And if you  don’t understand that, “your  faith is vain and you are STIILL in your sins.”  In other words, not born again and headed for damnation.

So if you suspect that you could have had a false conversion because at the time, you did not focus on the Lord’s resurrection, feel free to contact us for clarity.  It will be among the most important actions to take in this hour.

Deliverance Coaching Is Not Deliverance Ministry

Deliverance Coaching is the partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to overturn a false conversion, detox from religion, and prepare themselves for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Preparation of the the elect for His return is spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. The coach is the subject matter expert at recognizing deception and replacing deception with truth about end-times. The institutional church, Satanic deception, the wiles and tricks of Satan. The coach is is also an expert at recognizing false doctrine and practices.

Regarding the demonized, our coaches are not required to be anointed to cast out demons or to function as an analyst or professional counselor. Instead, our team coaches people on becoming free from evil spirits by teaching them the truth; by advising them on what they need to stop doing/believing in order to get relief from torment; and by helping them discover what ground they need to give up. The team also coaches them on overturning a false conversion and on how to become free from religion. We coach them to work on personality flaws, unhelpful thought patterns, and habits in order to obtain more freedom in their lives. When necessary, Pastor Pam will cast out demons. We find that those who are fully set free are those who receive truth and apply it.

I know you have heard a lot of talk on religious spirits.  If you are new to church (as we know it), or if  you’ve been in church for over 40 years, this term may baffle you because you have been taught that – as the song goes ‘Religion SO sweet…’

We all have been lulled into a semi- or fully-delusional state where we are drugged into believing something we know deep down inside ‘just isn’t right.’  We just went to church and went along with the programs to get along.  We didn’t want to rock the boat, so to speak, out of fear that we would be labeled ‘rebellious,’ ‘unfaithful,’ ‘unteachable,’ or a host of other names leadership likes to place on thinking people who were blessed with common sense AND wisdom to know game when they see it.

Yet even the most discerning, the most wise, the most…

Trying the Spirits in Times of Peril: What the Bible Says

Towards the end of the Apostle Paul’s life, he warns Timothy of the perils that would come upon believers in the last days. The peril concerns every single child of God.  NONE OF US ARE EXEMPT.  His ominous letter reads something like this.

The peril concerns every child of God, and no spiritual believer should be so foolish to assume that  he or she  is exempt from peril. Paul’s  prophecy of the Holy Spirit declares, that (1) “some shall fall away from the faith; (2) the reason for the fall will be a giving heed to seducing  spirits. The essence of the  deception is that the operation is looked upon as sincere and pure. (3) The nature of the deception will be in doctrines of demons (4) The way of deception will be that the “doctrines” are delivered with “hypocrisy.” Those who do so will be admired, revered, and believed to be teaching…
